Executive Director/Deputy Executive Chairman Mr Chen Khai Voon Malaysian, aged 51 Mr Chen was first appointed onto the Board of Mutiara as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director / Deputy Chairman on 17 December 2009 and was redesignated as Executive Director / Deputy Executive Chairman on 14 December 2010. Mr Chen completed his Diploma in Accounting in 1981 and for the next eight years, gained experience in both the financial and distribution industries. In 1989, he founded KVC Electric (M) Sdn Bhd (now known as KVC Industrial Supplies Sdn Bhd) (“KVC”) and Group (“KVC Group”). Since then, he changed the industrial supply landscape and spearheads the KVC Group to be the leading One-Stop Industrial Supply Provider in Malaysia. He was appointed as Group Managing Director of ATIS Corporation Berhad on 15 April 2004. Mr Chen also sits on the Boards of ATIS Corporation Berhad and Genetec Technology Berhad.
